Broadcast with audience builder

Marketing teams, D2C brands, agencies

Compose a message against an approved template, then choose an audience: everyone opted-in, a saved segment, or a WhatsApp group. Preview exactly how the customer will see it before sending. The Broadcasts subtab keeps a history of what went out.

Broadcast composer Audience picker Template preview Broadcast history
Step by step
  1. Open Broadcast (under Engage) and stay on the Compose subtab
  2. Pick an approved template and fill in its dynamic fields
  3. Choose your audience: everyone opted-in, a saved segment, or a WhatsApp group
  4. Preview how it renders on the customer's phone, then send. Check the Broadcasts subtab for history

Sequences with reply-driven or timed steps

SaaS onboarding, e-commerce lifecycle, education

Build multi-step sequences: either time-delayed drips, or reply-driven flows that advance the instant the contact responds. Enable "stop on reply" so a sequence gets out of the way the moment a human conversation starts.

Sequence builder Reply-driven steps Stop-on-reply Template manager
Step by step
  1. Open Sequences (under Engage) and click "New sequence"
  2. Add steps, each pointing to a template
  3. Choose reply-driven (advance on each reply, zero delay) or time-based delays between steps
  4. Optionally check "stop the sequence when the contact replies," then save and enroll contacts

Milestone-triggered behavior rules

E-commerce lifecycle, onboarding, post-purchase follow-up

Define a rule: when a named milestone fires (like order_placed), send a specific template after a configurable delay, with a dynamic parameter filled in. Runs automatically every time that milestone is recorded, whether it came from the API or another Klaros feature.

Behavior rules Milestone trigger Delay timer Rule activity log
Step by step
  1. Open Behavior in the sidebar
  2. Enter the milestone name to watch for (e.g. "order_placed")
  3. Pick the template to send and set a delay in minutes
  4. Click "Add rule." Check the activity log to see it fire as milestones come in

Every broadcast respects opt-out and your daily send cap. Your number's quality rating stays protected.

Inbox Conversations and Scheduling #

Team inbox management

Support teams, sales ops, account managers

Conversations arrive categorized as Interactive (customer-initiated, free 24h window), Inbound (needs attention), or Outbound (your broadcasts). Assign conversations to team members, use canned replies for common questions, add internal notes for context handoff. Unread rollup and your-turn/their-turn sections keep the queue organized.

Categorized inbox Agent assignment Canned replies Internal notes Unread rollup
Step by step
  1. Open Inbox to see conversations sorted by Interactive, Inbound, and Outbound categories
  2. Click a conversation to read the full thread, then assign it to a team member if needed
  3. Use canned replies (type "/" to search) for common responses, or compose a custom message
  4. Add internal notes visible only to your team for context during handoffs

Let the assistant book the meeting

Sales teams, consultants, clinics, anyone whose next step is a conversation

Someone typing “can we talk this week” has already decided. Instead of promising a callback, the assistant replies with up to three times as tappable buttons, rendered in the customer’s own timezone so nobody does the arithmetic. It skips your weekends and anything already booked. Their tap is what creates the meeting, so nothing reaches a calendar because software decided it should, and if your diary is genuinely full it hands the thread to a person rather than proposing a clash.

AI commands Tappable time slots Contact timezone Conflict avoidance Reminders
Step by step
  1. Activate the Meetings extension in Settings, and set your default call link if you use one
  2. Open AI Sources and check that “Times to meet” is on, with the audience you want
  3. A customer asks to book, in whatever words they choose, and receives three times to tap
  4. The booking appears in your agenda, and a reminder goes out before the call

Decide what the assistant may do, and for whom

Owners and admins who want automation without handing over the keys

The worry about an assistant that can act is not what it can do, it is what it will do without asking. AI Sources lists every action it can take on one screen, each with an off switch and a choice of Anyone, Team only, or Customers only. Team means a colleague whose WhatsApp number is on their profile, verified by Meta rather than asserted by whoever is typing, so a staff-only command is invisible to everybody else and cannot be reached by guessing the right sentence.

AI commands Per-command audience Team WhatsApp number Coverage gaps
Step by step
  1. In Team, add each colleague’s WhatsApp number to their profile so the assistant can recognise them
  2. Open AI Sources and review the AI commands list: what it can do, and who may ask
  3. Set anything sensitive to Team only, or switch it off entirely
  4. Check the gaps panel for anything it can offer but cannot explain, and write a line about it

Share products in conversation

Retailers, service businesses, catalog-driven sellers

Add products with a photo, name, and price to the Media library once. From any open conversation in the Inbox, the Products picker sends one in a single click, no Meta catalog setup required.

Media library Products picker Inbox composer
Step by step
  1. Open Media and add a product: photo, name, and price
  2. Open a conversation in the Inbox
  3. Click the Products picker in the composer and select the item
  4. It sends in one click. The same product can also be used as a Broadcast template header image

Collect payment for a WhatsApp order

Retailers, jewellery and D2C sellers, service businesses billing per order

A customer's cart from your connected catalog shows up in the Inbox as a clickable chip, not a dead end. Click it to open a payment-request composer pre-filled with the real items; add or edit line items, paste in a payment link from your own provider (Razorpay, PayU, whatever you already use), and send. The order is tracked from received through paid, and a customer who doesn't pay gets one automatic reminder.

Commerce tab Payment-request composer Order tracking Abandoned-cart reminder
Step by step
  1. A customer sends a cart from your catalog, or you build a manual order from the Inbox composer
  2. Click the "🛒 Order" chip on a received cart (or the order composer icon) to open the payment-request popover, pre-filled with the cart's items
  3. Add/remove line items if needed, paste in a payment link from your payment provider, and send
  4. Track it in the Commerce tab: received → payment requested → paid → fulfilled. Mark it fulfilled once you've shipped

Service conversations within Meta's 24h window are free. The categorized inbox makes them easy to find.

Contact management and segmentation

Any business with a contact list

Search, filter, and organize your contacts. Import from Google, Outlook, iCloud, CSV, or vCard. Build dynamic segments based on tags, lead stage, consent status, or custom fields. Segments update automatically as contact data changes. Use these segments as an audience source for a broadcast.

  4. Use the segment as a saved-segment audience in Broadcast or for sequence enrollment

Template lifecycle management

Marketing teams, compliance officers

Create WhatsApp message templates, submit them to Meta for approval, and track their status. Preview how templates render with dynamic parameters. Manage templates across categories: marketing, utility, and authentication. Rejected templates show the reason so you can fix and resubmit.

WhatsApp Flows from blueprints

Lead generation, feedback collection, service requests

Deploy multi-step in-chat forms using pre-built blueprints.
